Kevin Carlson, Artist and Autistic Kevin Carlson, born in 1978, has autism and likes to draw. He is also an illustrator of another coloring book which is about him titled, Autism Coloring Book, which is written by his paranoid schizophrenic and obsessive-compulsive brother, Richard. Visit Kevin's official Web site today! Kevin is a great artist; however, he often makes mistakes and likes to use a correction fluid to cover the problem. Correction fluid has been used on a number of his drawings. Also, a number of the images of his drawings on his Web site and other places including on the Internet have been slightly retouched with graphics software. Such modifications include, but are not limited to, removing specks on his drawings from debris or specks from the correctional fluid. Every attempt has been made to present his artwork as he created it. Where does Kevin Live? Kevin lives in the southwestern United States in Tucson, Arizona. He lives in an apartment with a roommate who also has autism. Kevin isn't able to take care of himself much of the time, so he relies on others to help. Kevin and his roommate require assisted living. Where does Kevin Work? He works at Sage, a store that employs people with developmental disabilities, like autism which is supervised by non-handicapped personnel. They primarily make southwestern style ceramic items.
